HIRING CHIEF ENGINEER

We are hiring for Chief Engineer for the Luxury Hospitality group in Kerala. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Engineer to lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations within the hospitality property. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient functioning of building systems, maintain safety and compliance standards, optimize operational costs, and support an exceptional guest experience through reliable facility management. Key Responsibilities:

Engineering & Maintenance Operations

• Oversee daily engineering and maintenance activities across the property.
• Ensure smooth operation of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and utility systems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

Facility Management

• Maintain building infrastructure and ensure operational readiness of all facilities.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and improvement projects.

Team Leadership & Workforce Management

• Lead, supervise, train, and develop engineering and maintenance teams.
• Prepare work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, fire safety, environmental, and hospitality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and preventive safety checks.
• Maintain emergency response and business continuity procedures.

Budget & Cost Control

• Prepare and manage engineering budgets and maintenance expenses.
• Monitor inventory, spare parts, and vendor contracts.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Vendor & Project Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Oversee AMC contracts and project execution.
• Ensure timely completion of engineering works.

Guest & Service Support

• Ensure minimal operational disruption and quick resolution of facility issues.
• Support guest satisfaction by maintaining high property standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 8–12 years of engineering experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and hospitality standards.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
