Manager Sales and Marketing Hospitality
Manager Sales and Marketing with experience in Hospitality Industry is responsible for driving premium revenue by positioning our five-star resort as the ultimate destination for luxury leisure, high-end bespoke events, and elite wellness retreats. This role requires a sophisticated professional who understands the nuances of the ultra-luxury market, ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs), and premium inbound travel. The focus is not just on selling room nights, but on selling the curated Kerala luxury experience—from private houseboat backwater cruises to bespoke Ayurvedic wellness journeys.
## Key Responsibilities
1. Luxury Business Development & Experiential Selling

Proactively secure high-yield bookings from luxury travel segments: Destination Weddings, High-End Corporate Retreats, Celebrities, and Inbound Leisure Travellers.

Partner with premium Luxury Tour Operators (LTOs), Destination Management Companies (DMCs) specializing in Kerala/South India, and elite travel designers (e.g., Virtuoso, Abercrombie & Kent).

Pitch and sell complete experiential packages, integrating premium inventory (e.g., private pool villas, presidential suites) with curations like specialized Ayurveda packages, private dining, and local cultural experiences.
- Must have thorough experience in OTA Platforms. Handle dynamic pricing. Manage Reservations.
2. Brand Positioning & Relationship Management

Sales and Marketing Manager with Hospitality background must act as a brand ambassador, maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients, corporate CXOs, and premium event planners.

Conduct highly personalized site inspections and curate exclusive familiarization (FAM) trips for top-tier travel agents and influencers.

Represent the resort at premium domestic and international travel marts (e.g., ATM, OTM, SATTE, ILTM) to showcase the property.
3. Strategic Yield & Revenue Management

Focus on maximizing Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Average Spend per Guest rather than just sheer occupancy.

Collaborate with Revenue Management to create seasonal and festival strategies (e.g., Monsoons for Ayurveda, winter peak season, and wedding seasons).

Monitor global luxury travel trends to pivot offerings swiftly ahead of local competitors.
## Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Asst. Manager Sales and Marketing must have 4+ years of B2B sales experience in a Four Star or Five-Star Luxury Hotel or Resort. Direct experience in the Kerala or South Indian luxury hospitality market is highly preferred.

Network: An active, established network of premium wedding planners, luxury DMCs, and corporate event organizers.

Product Knowledge: Deep appreciation and understanding of luxury wellness (Ayurveda), experiential tourism, and Kerala’s unique cultural heritage.
