RESORT MANAGER FOR A BOUTIQUE RESORT

Hiring Resort Manager for a Luxury Boutique Resort in Munnar. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and guest-focused Resort Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a luxury boutique resort in Munnar. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, exceptional hospitality standards, and proven experience in managing luxury resorts while ensuring memorable guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Resort Operations

  • Resort Manager will Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments.
  • Maintain the highest standards of luxury hospitality and personalized guest service.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and implement best practices to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all resort facilities are maintained to exceptional standards.

Guest Experience

  • Personally engage with VIP and high-profile guests to ensure an outstanding stay experience.
  • Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop unique guest engagement initiatives to enhance repeat business and guest loyalty.
  • Ensure every guest receives personalized and memorable hospitality.

Food & Beverage Operations

  • Resort Manager will oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, cafés, room service, and special dining experiences.
  • Ensure superior food quality, hygiene, presentation, and service standards.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef to introduce seasonal menus and curated dining experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction related to F&B services.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate departmental heads and operational staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions focusing on luxury service standards.
  • Foster a positive work culture emphasizing teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Evaluate employee performance and implement development plans.

Revenue & Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets.
  • Monitor operational costs while maintaining premium service standards.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and guest experience enhancements.
  • Analyze financial reports and recommend corrective measures to improve profitability.

Sales & Business Development

  • Resort Manage will support the Sales & Marketing team in promoting resort packages and experiences.
  • Develop relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and luxury travel partners.
  • Participate in promotional activities to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Drive repeat business through exceptional guest satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and hospitality guidelines.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping, landscaping, engineering, and maintenance standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits across departments.
  • Ensure adherence to luxury brand standards (where applicable).

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience in luxury hotels or boutique resorts.
  • At least 3–5 years in a Resort Manager, Operations Manager, or Assistant General Manager role.
  • Strong experience in Luxury Resort Operations and Food & Beverage Management.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-department teams.
  • Excellent guest relations and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
  • Experience in hill resorts or leisure destinations will be an added advantage.
